Hyderabad, Sindh’s second-largest city, is the site of enduring customs, a rich culture, and historical significance. It is well renowned for its marketplaces, chatpatta cuisine, and many other things. It also contains a variety of classic restaurants, like the Bombay Bakers, Koozi Haleem, and other architectural and historical wonders. One such well-known and exceptional dining destination is Café Afzal, which opened over 50 years ago.

A modest café (more of a shop than a restaurant) by the name of Café Afzal can be found amid the historic and narrow lanes of Shahi Bazaar Hyderabad, only a short stroll from Mukhi House and Hasrat Mohani Central Library. Given that the café only offers breakfast, it is only open from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm. They provide a huge selection of delectable Indian morning foods, like paratha, halwa pakwan, and daal poori.

A paratha known as Dulhan ka paratha or Dulhan Paratha is a good indicator of how much Pakistanis adore parathas. The Dulhan paratha is just as important since in Pakistan a bride is considered to be a star.

Loaded with savory minced chicken, butter and dry fruits, this crispy deep fried paratha is sliced into several pieces and then garnished with chicken leg piece, minced chicken, khoya, beetroot, cashew nuts, almonds and seasonal fruits.

Despite the publicity and the quality of their parathas, Dulhan Paratha has not acquired the fame it deserves.
