Karachi’s famous restaurant Zahid Nihari has made it to the list of 100 Most Legendary Restaurants in the world.

TasteAtlas, a prominent global food review publication, has ranked Zahid Nihari on Tariq Road in Karachi 89th on its list of recommended restaurants to visit in 2024.

“Zahid Nihari specializes in nihari, a slow-cooked beef stew renowned for its rich flavors and tender meat, served in a basic, no-frills environment,” according to the website. This restaurant is a symbol for traditional Pakistani food in Karachi.”

According to the statement, these 100 restaurants stood out among the 23,751 traditional diners serving local cuisines in the website’s database because of their enduring presence, constant quality, and the iconic position attained by both the restaurant and its signature dishes. Saleema Feerasta and six other food critics have endorsed Zahid Nihari.
