
Rich and decadent molten lava cakes filled with a silky gooey chocolate filling. These lave cakes are super easy to make with just 6 ingredients in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
• Butter 4 Tbs
• Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/3 cup
• Icing sugar ½ cup
• Egg yolk 1
• Egg 1
• All-purpose flour 3 Tbs
• Vanilla extract ¼ tsp
• 2” deep ramekins
Directions:
-Preheat oven at 200 C.
-Add butter and chocolate in a bowl and microwave for 30- 45 seconds or until butter and chocolate melts. Mix well.
-Stir in the sugar until well blended.
-Add egg yolk and egg, whisk well. Stir in flour, mix well.
-Add vanilla extract and give it a good mix.
-Grease your ramekins or 2 inch deep oven safe bowls. Add some flour or coco powder and dust excess.
-Add mixture in ramekins/bowls. Add bake at 200 C for exact 14 minutes. Cake should have firm side and the center remains soft. Let stand for a minute and invert the cake on separate plates while it’s warm.
-Sprinkle icing sugar and serve.
Tips:
• This recipe is not for microwave.
• If ramekins are not available use small bowl (preferably 2×2 inch deep) which are oven safe or a cupcake tray.
• This recipe yields 2 cakes.
