For Eid Ul Fitr this year, nine films will be released in Pakistan. This Eid, five major Hollywood releases, two Indonesian horror films, one major Pakistani release (including a director’s cut rerelease), and two major Indonesian releases will all be available in theaters.
Daghabaaz Dil
Wajahat Rauf’s most recent work, “Daghabaaz Dil,” is a follow-up to “Karachi Se Lahore” and “Chhalawa.” Mehwish Hayat and Ali Rehman Khan play the main roles in the movie. The movie’s teaser depicts a typical Eid movie scene, with a wedding taking place and some turmoil following.
Babar Ali, Saleem Sheikh, Momin Saqib, Laila Wasti, and Ayesha Khan are all riding along for the adventure. Song, dancing, and Wajahat Rauf’s trademark thrills and humor are all promised in the movie. This could provide some enjoyable family entertainment as an all-out wedding entertainer hasn’t been published in a while.
Pemandi Janazah
On Eid Ul Fitr, this Indonesian horror film will also be released in theaters. It is about a woman who washes deceased people before burial. An evil force is affecting the woman in question. If Sijjin was your thing, Pemandi Janazah could be the movie for you.
Pemukiman Setan
This Eid Ul Fitr, a second Indonesian horror movie will be released in theaters. The story of Pemukiman Setan, also known as the House of Shaitaan, centers on a woman who is trying to flee an abusive and disrespectful life. She goes along with three of her buddies to steal antiques from a residence. This is the house where the horror starts.
Algea: God of Pain
Algae: God of Pain is another horror film currently showing in Pakistani theaters. The Greek mythological god of suffering is mentioned in the title. It has a plot in which several characters confront Algae and fight their own personal demons.
The First Omen
“The First Omen,” a prequel to the 1978 horror classic, aims to investigate the origins of Damien Thorne. There are additional intriguing tidbits of information to this puzzle for those who are familiar with the famous scene in which Gregory Peck’s character learns the horrifying truth about his son.
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2
The follow-up to the independent horror movie that turned the lovable bear into a murderous psychopath is called Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. It’s quite doubtful that you will enjoy the original, but you might want to give this one a look.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is directly continued in the most recent installment of the Ghostbusters franchise. Three years after the events of the first movie, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, and Ernie Hudson—three of the original ghostbusters from 1984—return in this sequel as they fight to rescue New York City.
Taxali Gate: Director’s Cut
On Eid Ul Fitr, the director’s cut of Taxali Gate will also be released. This one has multiple new sequences in addition to a changed first half. Since Director Abu Aleeha claims that this version flows better and has more character exploration, fans of the original will enjoy this more.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is without a doubt the largest commercial release this Eid-ul-Fitr. This movie, which centers on the two biggest stars in Hollywood, will pit them against a rival monstrosity from the underworld.
Milly Bobbie Brown and Vera Farmiga, who had similar parts in earlier movies, will return for this one. But the main draw for spectators will be the chaos and devastation that the two titans will cause on the big screen.
