Bollywood star Zahan Kapoor, who won a lot of praise for “Black Warrant,” has admitted that he was unaware of his cousin Ranbir Kapoor before to his feature debut.

The Bollywood celebrity is the second cousin of Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Karisma Kapoor, as he is the grandson of the renowned actor Shashi Kapoor.

Zahan Kapoor, however, has admitted to growing up apart from his relatives.

The “Black Warrant” star recently admitted in an interview with an Indian media site that he was unaware of Ranbir Kapoor before to his 2017 debut in “Saawariya.”

“I’ll share a humorous story with you. I feel so ashamed about it. Prior to his actual launch, I had very little knowledge about Ranbir Kapoor. I knew a Chintu uncle, of course. However, we were really different. As a young child, I was living in my own universe. He made a big impression with Saawariya in 2007 when he was still a young adult. He remarked, “I was still in school.”

“We were a little more distant when we were growing up,” Zahan stated in response to a question concerning his relationship with cousins Kareena and Ranbir Kapoor. When I was a little child, they were already employed. We had distinct upbringings. In addition, my dadaji deliberately chose to keep his distance since he respected his privacy. We cherish our solitude as a nuclear family. The family would get together on important occasions and occasionally, perhaps at random as well.

The Bollywood star claimed to have forged a bond with his second cousins.

Due to the fact that they are my second cousins, I have grown closer to them as a young adult. Thus, a split has occurred. Their bond is still tighter because they are first cousins. However, I have memories of them from my early years. Zahan Kapoor continued, “The family structure is also just so big.”
