She became quite well-known and solidified her reputation in the industry because to her role as “Meerab” in the hit drama Tere Bin. Yumna has performed in numerous additional dramas, including Bakhtawar, Parizaad, Pyaar Ke Sadqay, Sin-e-Aahan, and Ishq-e-Laa.

During an interview with Maliha Rehman on her Gloss Etc YouTube channel, the Nayab actor talked about her experience of taking home two Lux Style Awards (LSA) in 2023. Her outstanding performances in the drama Bakhtawar earned her nominations for the Best TV Actor (Female) award in both the viewers’ and critics’ categories, and she ultimately took home the prize. She stated:
Bakhtawar ki naam pe ek toh milna chahiye mujhe ye tha. Why should I lie when I was hoping for one award? Nevertheless, do give toh mujhe nahi expect that.
The host also inquired as to if she had been subjected to harsh treatment or cruelty by industry individuals following her two LSA 2023 prizes. Yumna went on to say that she had never experienced any meanness. The actress claimed that she has a small circle of pals and is extremely self-centered on work. She stated:
“Mujhe toh pata hi nahi chalta. People were always nice to me. Mere ird gird jo log, jinse main interact karti thi, shayad jinko maine apni mehfil mein rakha wo sab log acche log the. Toh agar koi mean hota hai toh, I am blessed with this trait ke main bohot jaldi let go kar deti hun.”
Yumna Zaidi is devoted to her “an insane fandom.”
Maliha brought up Yumna’s fandom throughout the discussion, particularly “YumHaj” (Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali). The actress lavished her fandom with accolades. She stated that she enjoys the fact that her admirers adore her and value her work. When the host inquired about her ‘YumHaj’ popularity, Yumna responded that it’s not as though her followers don’t value her coupling with other heroes. She stated:
“Wahaj aur mera fandom bohot strong hai aur mere aur heroes ke saath bhi jo fandoms hai wo bhi strong hi hai.” The couple is adored by the public; their on-screen connection is amazing.
