Many celebrities from India and outside are gathering at the wedding site in Jamnagar, Gujarat, for the lavish Indian pre-wedding celebrations of Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, which begin on March 1, 2024.
The group of Hollywood singing phenomenon Rihanna is one of the well-known guests. Videos of them arriving at the venue with their many bags have been making the rounds online. Rihanna is scheduled to perform at the pre-wedding festivities.
Moreover, Bollywood celebrities such as Ranbir Kapoor with his family including Neetu Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, as well as Salman Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and many others also arrived.
For those who don’t know, Anant and Radhika, the younger daughter of businesswoman Shaila Merchant and businessman Viren Merchant, started dating as friends and are getting ready to get married.
Anant recently gave some insight into why they decided to have the pre-wedding celebrations there.
Anant talked about what he would consider the “perfect” date for himself and his soon-to-be bride Radhika Merchant in a recent interview with India Today for the Jab We Met episode.
He said, “I have grown up here, and it’s my good fortune that we could plan the celebration here. This is my dadi’s janm bhoomi (grandmother’s birthplace) and my dada and papa’s karm bhoomi (my grandfather and father’s workplace). It’s a matter of pride and happiness when our PM said that one should get married in India. And this is my home.”
