
.Are you a Fawad Khan fan who is eagerly awaiting his return to television? You are in for a treat. The actor is preparing to star in an international project known as ‘Shandur,’ which is presently the working title for the series.
According to Amna Haider Isani of Something Haute, ‘Shandur’ will star Fawad Khan, Sanam Saeed, Hira Khan, and Mikaal Zulfiqar. Khan depicts an exquisite Chitrali Nawab who enjoys playing polo. The series, directed by Asim Raza and scripted by Umera Ahmed, will premiere on Sony LIV, an Indian OTT platform. The high-budget series is being filmed in the United Kingdom and several locations in Pakistan.
For those who are unfamiliar, Asim Raza and Umera Ahmed previously worked together on the film ‘Behadd’, which starred Fawad Khan, Nadia Jamil, and Sajal Aly. Interestingly, ‘Shandur’ would be Sanam and Fawad’s third overseas collaboration.The first two are ‘Barzakh’ and ‘Jo Bache Hain Sang Samait Lo’.
Awad Khan is a popular actor among both local and international audiences. From ‘Humsafar’ to ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, the actor has carved himself his own niche by portraying distinct characters. His Bollywood debut, ‘Khoobsurat’, followed by hits such as ‘Kapoor and Sons’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, helped him attain broad fame in India.
